Downtown Farmers Market Every Saturday from May 1 – October 30, 2021

Named the #2 Farmers Market in America by Daily Mail, Des Moines' farmers market is definitely a can't-miss event. No two days are the same at this market, where 165 vendors are rotated throughout the season. The farmers market features a variety of locally made products, including baked goods, handmade art, and fresh-picked flowers.

Madison County Covered Bridge FestivalOctober 9 – 10, 2021

Des Moines Arts Festival June 24 – 26, 2022
